Committee lead (speaker 1) framed the problem in stark terms: "It's been described as kind of a slow moving train wreck because at some point, those capacities of those facilities are going to be met." He cited local examples: West Falls previously took about 30 loads a day and now takes 8; the village of Lake George was taking 45,000 gallons per day and now takes about 14,500; Ticonderoga likewise has reduced acceptance. The commission approved Resolution 2025-S22 to select consultants and authorized contract execution; the contract award was described as falling within the commission's project budget.
