Council approves two business registrations, rejects $4,000 property-sale offer

The council approved two business registrations: Christopher Duff for Duffy's Auto Detailing (1212 Abbott Rd., Suite 5) and Karen Pepe for Briar Hill Holdings LLC (1385 Abbott Rd.; cannabis dispensary). The council approved the dispensary registration on a 4–1 vote (Council member Muflahi recorded a no vote).
Separately, the council removed Azaldeen “Izzy” Mohamed's request to purchase a city-owned corner lot at South Park and Verel from the table and voted to reject the $4,000 offer (vote 4–1). Resident John Ingram submitted five items for discussion, including bus-turning concerns on Steelawanna and requests related to a hawk-light at the library; council received and filed his communication.
