Council approves routine business: meeting minutes, AP report, vehicle sales and business registration

At the Oct. 21 meeting the Lackawanna City Council disposed of several routine administrative items in a single series of motions.
Council adopted the minutes of the Oct. 7, 2024 meeting (motion by Marrano, second by Muflahi) and voted to receive and file the Assistant Comptroller's A/P Check Listing #7 dated Oct. 10, 2024. Director of Public Safety Dino Marrocco requested authorization to sell a 2019 Ford Fusion (VIN 3FA6P0T97KR144878) and a 2021 Dodge Durango (VIN 1C4RDJFG0M C847465) with proceeds to be placed in the Police Department operating fund; council approved the sale. Later in the meeting the council removed from the table and approved the business registration for Ridna Nagi, Alnoor International (1346 Electric Avenue). Each motion recorded a 4-0 vote.
The meeting adjourned following the listed business.
