The Town of Central adopted a series of second‑reading ordinances on Aug. 10 to annex and rezone multiple parcels. The council moved, seconded and voted unanimously on each item.
Ordinances adopted on second reading included annexation of Parcel 4074‑00‑35‑5969 (138 M and M Road), Parcel 4074‑00‑36‑6483 (162018 Mile Road), and Parcel 4074‑00‑36‑8027 (164818 Mile Road). The council also approved rezoning actions moving those parcels from unzoned or general commercial into planned unit development‑residential (PUD R) designations; an additional rezoning for Parcel 4074‑00‑16‑4323 (referred to in the record as “Willy Wonka”) was similarly adopted on second reading. Each motion passed by voice/hand vote with five in favor and no oppositions recorded.
Mayor read each ordinance and called for the vote; no extended debate was recorded on the second readings. The actions will be reflected in the town’s ordinance record and administrative files.
