During the business update the committee reviewed the July 2026 personnel report. Chair Laura Scott said hires include Alex Bridal (new assistant principal), summer paraeducators, substitute custodians and a substitute teacher; the report also listed five separations and one internal transfer, naming Rachel Bridal as Mountain View's second assistant principal. The chair noted vacancies unfilled as of Aug. 31 will be reported in September and that job postings appear on SchoolSpring.
Committee members agreed the district will present the new assistant principals at the second meeting in September. Chair Scott also corrected a spelling error noted in the personnel listing, specifying that Rachel's last name is Bridal, not the variant that appeared in the report.
