Troup ISD reports 97.41% tax collections, sets budget workshop and hearing dates

Finance Director Blake Rowe reported that the district has collected 97.41% of the current-year tax levy and 94.69% of the budgeted revenue to date; he also reviewed the district's cash and investments, quarterly reports and fund balance projections.
Rowe announced the budget calendar for 2026–2027, including a Budget Workshop scheduled for August 10 at 5:00 p.m. and a Budget Hearing set for August 31 at 5:00 p.m. The board received the financial reports and calendar as information; no budget adoption occurred at the July meeting.
