Troup ISD board approves probationary teaching contracts for two high-school instructors

After reconvening from closed session, the board voted to approve two probationary teaching contracts recommended by Superintendent Jones. Ty Lindsey made the motion and Vic Bansal seconded; all five voting members (Vic Bansal, Ty Lindsey, Shane Jasper, Lisa Lewis and Todd Kelly) voted in favor, and the motion carried 5–0.
The approvals were for the 2026–2027 school year: a probationary dual teaching contract for Ashlyn Reichert (coach and math teacher at the high school) and a probationary teaching contract for Brianna Anding as the high school's Culinary Arts teacher. The motion recorded that these were personnel actions taken on the Superintendent's recommendation.
