Troup ISD board approves consent agenda including workers' compensation renewal and interlocal agreements

Vice President Todd Kelly moved to approve the package of items and Secretary Lisa Lewis seconded; the motion carried unanimously, 5–0 (Vic Bansal, Ty Lindsey, Shane Jasper, Lisa Lewis and Todd Kelly voting in favor).
The consent package included minutes from June 8 (special and regular meetings), routine revenue and expenditure items and budget amendments, the Claims Administrative Services workers' compensation insurance renewal for 2026–2027, the 2026–2027 appraisal calendar, the Region VII Service Center 2026–2027 Regional Purchasing Cooperative interlocal agreement and resolution, an interlocal agreement with Tyler ISD and area Smith County schools for shared services for 2026–2027, and the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) annual report. No board member recorded a negative or abstaining vote.
