Since launching the apprenticeship program in 2022, staff said 106 apprentices across three cohorts have been supported with paid training, college coursework and wraparound services; First 5 reported 91 family childcare educators in a shared‑services alliance that provides coaching, networking and microgrants; and 16 early educators enrolled in the PK‑3 credential program with several completions reported. Supervisors emphasized sustainability and asked staff to integrate lessons into a forthcoming childcare blueprint scheduled for Sept. 15.
