Board approves certificate of correction to plat after consultant finds boundary discrepancy

Staff reported that Bolton & Menk discovered a discrepancy in the section corner location in the filed plat for the 2021 reconstruction of County State Highway 27 in the Eagle Lake area. The certificate of correction documents the revised, correct section corner and boundary lines for Plat 46 related to the highway right-of-way.
A commissioner moved to approve the certificate of correction; the motion was seconded and adopted by voice vote. Staff said the correction follows normal practice after a survey discrepancy is discovered and that the resolution documents the revised boundary for the record.
