The Village of New Berlin board unanimously approved hiring Evan Grainger to a vacant spot on the New Berlin Ambulance Service (NBAS) roster at a special meeting on Feb. 23, 2026. Mayor Peter Lennon reviewed Mr. Grainger’s qualifications and interview before the board voted to hire him.
Trustee Maryellen Canuel moved to hire Grainger and Trustee Kelly Banks seconded; the minutes record the motion as, “Maryellen made the motion to hire Mr. Grainger into a vacant spot on the NBAS roster.” The recorded vote was Canuel YES; Banks YES; Lennon YES, and the hiring action was approved. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. and adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
