Fire Chief Jared Hanslmaier gave the department report, saying annual call volume for the department was 113 and that participation has increased. He listed two upcoming fundraisers — a March raffle and a February bowling tournament — and outlined ongoing training and equipment needs, including an FTB refresher and SCBA training aimed at 15 interior members.
"There were 113 calls for the year, increased participation and more miles on the trucks," Hanslmaier said. He reported continued technical issues with Truck #255 that are being troubleshooted, and said the firehouse floor and boiler both need repair quotes. The department is transitioning to a new fire reporting system that will require more detailed reports, and trustees asked staff to obtain cost estimates for the floor work and for potential boiler service options.
