S5 said he has inherited prior discussions about the shelter, has talked with architects and a consultant with statewide experience, and wants council members to brief him on the town’s objectives so staff can report back with options. Council members discussed meeting timing (several favored one hour before the regular meeting) and agreed to set a time; S5 offered to send consultant information to the council ahead of that session.
