Trustees voted to approve payment vouchers totaling $984,100.02 across four funds at the Jan. 14 meeting. Trustee Maryellen Canuel read the resolution listing the General Fund, Water Fund, EMS Fund and Capital Project Fund totals and the Board approved the motion unanimously with Trustee Kelly Banks recorded as absent.
Maryellen read the line items aloud during the meeting: "General Fund $62,934.24, Water Fund $8,890.52, EMS Fund $5,614.66 and Capital Project Fund $906,660.60; total expenditure is $984,100.02." Mayor Lennon also reported that the $600,000 Bond Anticipation Note was auctioned and the money was expected to arrive Jan. 21 and be deposited into the designated account to support the capital project cashflow. Trustees said they will schedule a finance workshop in late February to review QuickBooks reports and capital accounting as consultants finalize EFC exhibit memos required for closing.
The resolution authorizing the payments was introduced by Trustee Canuel and seconded by Deputy Mayor Dave Smith; the Board approved the vouchers and directed staff to incorporate BAN proceeds into the capital project account when funds are received.
