Village submits lead service-line inventory to DOH; meter installs and EDU reassessment continuing

DPW Supervisor Jared Kline told the Board the village submitted its lead service line inventory to the Department of Health and is awaiting follow‑up questions for lines listed as 'unknown' or 'galvanized.' He said no lead service lines have been identified to date, but staff will need to confirm several customers’ records before the inventory is finalized.
"The lead service line inventory was sent to the Department of Health today, and they will probably come back with questions," Jared said. Consultants also reported roughly 100 new meter installations; Brian Skidmore said his team prepared an initial EDU (Equivalent Dwelling Unit) reassessment and requested the village provide the latest meter readings so the EDU tabulation can be finalized.
Trustees directed DPW and clerical staff to coordinate meter book pickup for consultant review and to resolve unknown service‑line classifications so the village can complete state reporting and move to required remediation steps if any lead services are confirmed.
