Councilperson Don Braunius reviewed terms of a three‑way snowflake lighting agreement among the Village of Speculator, the Town of Lake Pleasant and the Speculator Region Chamber of Commerce. The cost for 2025 totals $1,362.96; the town’s one‑third share is $454.32. The village agreed to handle installation, removal and off‑season storage. The resolution to accept the agreement (Resolution #144) passed unanimously.
Braunius noted eight new snowflakes were added this year, bringing the community total to eighteen. The board recorded no amendments and adopted the measure on a voice vote.
