The interview panel, made up of former EMS administrator Dale Barton, Trustee David Smith, Trustee Kelly Banks, EMS Commissioner and Mayor Peter Lennon and Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Kathryn Dunham, reviewed three applicants and held two interviews before recommending Whitaker for the post. The board’s formal motion to extend the offer appears in the meeting record as: "Motion to offer Bryan Whitaker the position of EMS Medical Provider with Administrative Duties at $21/ hr starting September 7, 2025." The meeting adjourned at 4:12 p.m. after a separate motion to close the special session was approved.
