Board approves bills, hears budget and public-comment updates; flag-raising planned for Sept. 11
Summary

The board approved payments via Resolution #121: Abstract #28 dated 08/27/2025 (4192–4196) for $26,942.80; Abstract #29 dated 08/29/2025 (4197–4223) for $223,837.80; and Voucher for Justice account Abstract #30 dated 09/02/2025 (4224) for $105.57. Supervisor Bain told the board they are approximately $6,000 over budget and Clerk Smith noted Deluxe-ordered deposit slips charged to Judge Visscher’s justice account need reimbursement from the court-supply line. During public comment Budget Officer Nancy Seifts said she will "get budget sheets out to the department heads this week," and guest Shorty Hoffman reported that "Hinkley is not getting electricity from the dam with water down." The meeting adjourned at 8:12 p.m.; the next meeting was set for Sept. 15, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
