The Jerseyville City Council unanimously approved travel for the Director of Tourism and Economic Development to attend the Illinois Enterprise Zone Association/Illinois Tax Increment Association 2026 Spring Conference in Peoria on April 22–23. Commissioner Anthony Steckel moved the travel authorization; Commissioner Jennifer Graklanoff seconded.
Director of Tourism Strang said the conference "is a great opportunity to network with other communities and keep updated on legislative changes." The council recorded no nays on the motion.
