Sarpy County OKs $545,700 Tyler Technologies upgrade with $61,175 annual licensing

The Sarpy County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 11 approved Resolution 182, a service agreement to move forward with phase two of the county's Tyler Technologies software implementation. The contract carries a one-time cost of $545,700 and an annual recurring licensing cost of $61,175.
"Tyler Technologies has served as the county's financial software platform for several years, supporting key functions across departments including the clerk's office, treasurer's office, fiscal administration, and tech services," said Beth Garber, assistant county administrator. Garber said implementing additional Tyler modules will reduce redundant licensing, improve internal and external customer service delivery, and reduce manual data entry.
Garber outlined that calendar year 2027 work will emphasize human capital management modules supporting payroll, human resources, time and attendance, recruiting and onboarding, and benefits administration. Commissioner Kluge moved to approve the agreement and Commissioner Warren seconded; the motion passed.
