Superintendent cites roughly $500,000 estimate to replace aging HVAC units

"So our estimation on placing those units is about $500,000," the superintendent said, noting that when combined with roofing estimates the district is looking at roughly $2.6–$2.7 million in near-term capital needs. He emphasized the district is preparing a plan and said those figures will inform financing and prioritization discussions in the spring.
The board did not vote on any capital commitments at the meeting; the superintendent described the numbers as planning estimates and said warranty status and insurance payout caps are factors in scheduling replacements.
