Safe at Home seeks wider representation to Columbia County Office for the Aging; July 16 meeting noted

Committee members reported attending Columbia County Office for the Aging (OFA) meetings and said OFA requests two town representatives. Rene Gibson and Joyce Ferrentino have attended regularly; Rene noted she cannot continue attending every meeting and requested other committee members help by serving as OFA representatives.
The next OFA meeting is scheduled for July 16 at 1:00 pm at the Fire Training Center, 50 Grandinetti Drive, Ghent. Mary Lou Kersten said she would try to attend the July meeting. The committee asked members to consider serving as the second Hillsdale representative at OFA meetings and to report back at the next Safe at Home meeting.
