Committee members received a status update on the Sharon Public Library rooftop solar project. Allen Giles of Solect told the committee that installation began June 11 and that Solect expected to provide a Certificate of Completion by July 15. Following certification, the project team planned to submit a Schedule Z application, conduct a witness test and seek permission to operate (PTO) from Eversource, with the PTO anticipated before the end of calendar year 2026.
Members noted the remaining steps for interconnection and that the Schedule Z and witness test are prerequisites to Eversource issuing PTO. The transcript records projected milestone dates (Certificate of Completion by July 15; PTO anticipated before the end of 2026) but does not include a firm, signed PTO date from Eversource.
