Finance staff: preliminary figures show roughly $10 million variance; $1m+ medical reimbursement pending

District finance staff presented preliminary revenue and expenditure figures through June 30 and cautioned that the numbers remain subject to change as auditors and vendors process invoices.
The staff presenter said, “Right now, we're sitting around between our expenditures and revenue, 10,000,000 ish dollars difference, but we still have, our medical access, reimbursement to file, which is over $1,000,000.” Staff said the ledger will continue to change while the district finalizes payroll accruals and awaits IU and vendor bills. Board members asked for clarity on accounts and coding (PDE codes and debt service separation) and staff agreed to continue reconciling records with auditors.
No formal fiscal action was taken beyond discussion; staff will return with updated numbers as invoices and reimbursements are resolved.
