Participants discussed technology requirements tied to the state system and MOU. S2 (staff member) said counties "must procure their own Office 365" and that "all future MFA requirements will be the responsibility of the county." S3 noted Office 365 is "like $6 a month per computer."
Staff said the state (DIS) handles service on state computers but county-owned machines and services remain the county's procurement responsibility; when systems fail, the county expects to maintain and replace equipment. The group agreed to factor procurement and recurring software costs into the MOU review before committing to additional state-imposed technical requirements.
