A series of Aging Services items were discussed first: Kim Thiel-Schaaf presented Contract 26-77, a memorandum of understanding with Missoula Aging Services for a Senior Medicare Patrol program for FY2027 (not to exceed $10,500), and corrected the record on Contract 26-81, noting the Foster Grandparent Award (24FDMT002) is year three of federal funding with a total listed at $206,603 for July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027. Trista Besich presented Contract 26-78, a Bullet Proof Vest Partnership Grant (CFDA #16-607) to purchase 10 vests at a total of $15,938 (50% reimbursable). Taylor Harrell introduced emergency-management items including Contract 26-86, acceptance of the FFY 2025 Emergency Management Performance Grant (State #25 EMPG Cascade) with a total project cost of $113,840 and a required county match of not less than $56,920.
