Nederland police honor Sgt. Casey Maxwell for completing statewide command program

Police Chief Rod Carroll introduced Sergeant Casey Maxwell and said the department now has three graduates of the Texas Municipal Police Association command program (LECOP), noting the program’s statewide participation and that Maxwell completed a leadership module. The chief credited the city’s training budget for enabling professional development.
Sergeant Maxwell thanked the department and said she is continuing her education with tuition reimbursement and is pursuing a master’s degree. The council congratulated Maxwell and noted family members in attendance.
