Treasurer Becky Holmberg presented purchase order #4187 covering required delinquent real-estate publications to the Osage Herald Chronicle; the chair read the total amount required by statute and the commission approved payment.
“This purchase order is in the total amount of $13,343,” the chair said while reading the paperwork. The chair moved to approve the purchase order to be paid out of the treasurer’s contractual fund; a commissioner seconded the motion and the commission voted aye.
Officials noted the statute requires three publication dates for delinquent real-estate notices and that the payment will be processed through the treasurer’s contractual fund. The purchase order was approved by voice vote during the meeting.
