Commissioners approve contract to widen box culvert on Auburn Road (Project 70CDash5415Dash01)

“The project's listed at, $660,000,” the Road and Bridge official said. “Osage County only being on the hook for 10%.” The project was identified in the agenda as project number 70CDash5415Dash01.
Commissioner Les moved to approve the contract and the chair seconded the motion; the commission carried the motion by voice vote and authorized county staff to execute the contract. County staff said the contract pages required a clerk’s stamp and signatures before the state would insert its information.
The commission did not record a roll-call tally in the minutes. Officials said the contract is already under review by the county counselor and county staff will sign the appropriate pages and return the document to the state for processing.
