Applicant Sarah Vartabedian told the board she sought the front-yard setback reduction and a 6-foot fence "for the safety and privacy of her family" and to better utilize backyard space. She answered the Standards of Proof, acknowledged the need for variances was self-created and said a 30-inch fence would not provide the desired privacy.
With no public opposition and no staff objections, the board voted unanimously to approve the variances in Case #2006, conditioned on substantial compliance with Exhibit A.
