The Village Board of Pleasant Prairie adopted Resolution No. 26-14 on April 27, 2026, recognizing Judy Juliana for more than 20 years of service on the Plan Commission.
Board President Dave Klimish read the resolution, which detailed Juliana’s work reviewing development proposals and planning initiatives including the redevelopment of the Pleasant Prairie Power Plant site, Prairie Highlands Corporate Park, Highland Estates and the Uline campus build-out. Trustee James Kendra moved adoption and Trustee Mike Polokoff seconded; the motion passed unanimously. President Klimish said the board will present Juliana with a plaque at a future date and extended the board’s “sincere appreciation” for her service.
Trustees praised Juliana’s consistent attendance and substantive knowledge. "She knew her stuff and she showed up no matter what," Klimish said. The resolution notes Juliana’s involvement in implementing the Pleasant Prairie comprehensive plan and steering development decisions affecting current and future residents.
The resolution was presented in the consent of tonight’s meeting; no additional action was required. The board’s formal vote was recorded as approving the resolution and carrying the motion.
