HENDRICKS COUNTY — At their July 28 meeting the Board of Commissioners approved several routine items: a Fourth Amendment to the Securus Technologies Master Services Agreement for the Work Release Facility call system; a six‑week Data Analysis Training & Assessment Agreement not to exceed $15,000; and an interlocal agreement with Plainfield for CR 750 S. improvements.
Facilities Manager Dennis Eickmann requested that old Treasurer's Office furniture (desks, chairs, bookshelves, file cabinets and partitions) be declared of no value and disposed of; the board approved the request. Mila Shaffer reported that work on the Government Center south parking lot revealed multiple parcels and public alleyways that must be vacated; a public hearing on vacating the alleyways was scheduled for the August 11, 2026 meeting. The board also acknowledged staff reports and several notices of tort claims received.
