Council approves consent calendar including bond refunds and business licenses

Preston City Council unanimously approved the consent calendar (Oct. 27 minutes, bills to Nov. 10, Treasurer’s report) and authorized refunds: Ron Brackin $294.00 (cut permit) and swale bond refunds to Craftsman Homes and View Point Homes ($1,765.75 each). Business licenses for Schmidt Real Estate LLC and Miller’s Tree Service were also approved.
The council moved unanimously to approve the consent calendar at the Nov. 10 meeting. The action included approval of minutes from Oct. 27, bills through Nov. 10, and the Treasurer’s Monthly Report dated Oct. 31, 2025.
The consent calendar also authorized a cut-permit refund to Ron Brackin, 112 West 2nd South, in the amount of $294.00 and swale bond refunds to Craftsman Homes (253 N 3rd W) and View Point Homes (243 N 3rd W) in the amounts of $1,765.75 each. The council approved business licenses for Caitlin Schmidt (Schmidt Real Estate LLC) and Jody Godderidge (Miller’s Tree Service). Councilmember Todd Thomas moved the approval and Councilmember Chris Larsen seconded; the motion received unanimous approval.
