Preston council to prioritize water redundancy in Comprehensive Plan update

Councilmember Brent Dodge said he had met with Keller Engineers and the Idaho Department of Water Resources as part of that review and that the ongoing water tank project remains central to the city’s strategy.
No formal motion to acquire a second source was recorded on Nov. 10; council directed staff to pursue avenues with IDWR and to update Element 6 to reflect the higher priority for redundancy.
