Ordinance 2025-9, which the minutes describe as vacating a portion of two future city rights-of-way, was read once in summary by City Clerk Linda Acock and adopted by the council on Oct. 27. Councilmember Todd Thomas introduced the ordinance and moved for approval; Councilmember Chris Larsen seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous among members present.
The record shows the council again dispensed with the three-reading requirement and approved Ordinance 2025-9 in a single summary reading, consistent with municipal procedure for noncontroversial measures.
