Supervisor Wood presented a Barton & Loguidice proposal to complete environmental permitting for a temporary repair to the Sylvan Falls Road culvert for a lump sum fee of $2,500. The board approved the proposal unanimously. The board also approved erecting bus stop signs near Fort Jackson Daycare to address safety concerns from increased traffic; a separate proposal to add No Parking signs on River St. was tabled pending further discussion.
Councilmembers discussed combining Lake Ozonia projects for bidding and tracking FEMA funds, but no additional highway capital expenditures were authorized at the meeting beyond the door and permitting approvals.
