During official considerations the board addressed several community items. Trustee William Kettle asked about brush at Machpelah Cemetery and confirmed the cleanup was a joint Village/Town effort. Trustee Raymond Yacuzzo proposed instituting a beautification award named after Tom Spadaro and suggested 42 Lake St. and 23 Main St. as candidate properties; Mayor Gregory Rogers supported the idea. The mayor also said he wants to schedule dedication of the John Aramino sign on Robbins Road.
These local initiatives were noted by trustees for follow-up; there were no formal votes recorded on the items during the workshop.
