At the Jan. 15 meeting the Village of Le Roy Board of Trustees declared selected Police Department property surplus for disposal, including a 2006 Ford E-350 (VIN# 1FTSS34P86DB39600). The resolution directs proceeds from any sale to the A895 Police Equipment Reserve.
Trustee William Kettle moved the surplus-resolution and Trustee Richard Tetrault seconded; the motion passed with recorded votes (Tetrault Aye; Yacuzzo Aye; Kettle Aye; Bonacquisti Absent; Mayor Gregory Rogers Aye). The resolution’s language in the minutes states the Village requires a surplus declaration before disposal and the Police Department intends to use proceeds to offset future equipment purchases.
