NV Energy laydown yard receives temporary use permit amid neighborhood outreach

Gavin Henderson reported that NV Energy has an active 74-acre laydown yard off Black Hawk Road for the Greenlink project; a grading permit and a temporary use permit were issued and the site is in active use.
Henderson said contractors have worked with Stagecoach residents to address concerns such as sign placement, and staff will issue separate electrical permits for powering job trailers. “They recognize it. So it's a temporary use. They want to be good neighbors,” Henderson said, adding that staff included stringent conditions similar to a CUP in the TUP.
