Lansingburgh sets new substitute pay rates, effective Sept. 1

The Lansingburgh Central School District Board voted to increase substitute pay across groups effective Sept. 1, 2024.
In a unanimous vote recorded as RESO #20-08/26/2024, the Board established daily substitute rates as follows: Teaching Assistants—$125 per day; Uncertified Teachers—$125 per day; Certified Teachers—$145 per day; and Retired LCSD Teachers—$150 per day. The Superintendent noted these represent a $25 increase for each group. The motion to set the rates was moved by Jillian Manupella and seconded by Daniella Richards.
Board minutes list the effective date as Sept. 1, 2024; the change applies to substitutes districtwide for the upcoming school year.
