Psychology board files endorsement pathway for experienced practitioners; continues work on continuing-education language

The packet creates a new endorsement licensure pathway for psychologists who have practiced in another state for ten of the last 15 years and establishes supervision and scope-of-practice standards for psychological testing technicians.
Staff noted that during emergency-rule proceedings a continuing-education requirement raised concerns; although the rules were filed, the board met last Friday and voted to repeal the contested continuing-education section and plans to file corrected language for committee review in September. The committee heard no public comment on the broader packet and voted a positive recommendation.
