The Board of Education accepted resignations and retirements and approved a slate of instructional and non‑instructional appointments at the Sept. 23 meeting. Motion by Mr. Thomas Zakrzewski accepted resignations including Kimberly Ravena (retirement effective June 30, 2025) and two teaching assistant resignations; the motion passed unanimously.
The Board approved appointments including Allison Jaillet as an 8th grade science teacher (probationary appointment effective Oct. 21, 2024) and multiple long‑term substitutes and club sponsors. The minutes record a motion to approve payment of up to 10 hours at contractual rates for staff in a Teaching Assistant Coaching Program through Title II, and salary adjustments for staff effective Sept. 1, 2024 based on earned graduate credits. Several extracurricular and club assignments for the 2024–25 school year were authorized at stated hourly rates or volunteer status, and a substitute RN (Elizabeth Jensen) and a noon aide (Alex Dudley) were appointed for non‑instructional roles.
