Chair Hugh C. Maguire asked Water Superintendent Mark Warren about the status of a recent water main break.
Warren said the break was caused by a pressure transducer issue at the booster station, that the transducer problem has been resolved, and that a temporary water main is currently in use. The board recorded the update and did not take additional formal action during the meeting.
Staff will continue to monitor the temporary main and system pressures and will report back to the board if further repairs or permanent work are required.
