Le Roy district readies bus garage work, roofing repairs and bathroom reconfiguration

During committee reports, Superintendent Merritt Holly told the board that capital project work on the bus garage is slated to start July 23 and roofing work continues at the Wolcott Street School campus. He said the Jr./Sr. High School bathrooms have been demolished and reconfiguration work has commenced; a change order will be brought to the Aug. 12 meeting.
Mr. Holly also said a redesign of the main water line backflow preventer is required, that the redesign cost exceeds the $35,000 superintendent approval threshold, and that Monroe County Water Authority and the Genesee County Department of Health must approve the redesign. The needed part has been ordered with a 3–5 week delivery window and the redesign will be run through the capital project and be aidable.
