Huron ZBA approves several permits, records holds and withdrawals in March meeting

The Town of Huron Zoning Board of Appeals approved the January 14, 2025 meeting minutes and acted on several land-use applications at its March 11 meeting. The board approved an area variance for a small rear-yard addition, granted special permits for a storage structure and a roof over a boat hoist, and allowed four RV campsites at Island Cove Marina with conditions; votes were recorded for each action and SEQRA screenings were completed where required.
The board also recorded procedural items: application 1218-25A (Willmes) was placed on hold and application 1219-25SP (Carl Schmitt) was withdrawn. Chairman Bob Lannon adjourned the meeting at 8:26 p.m.; the minutes list Diane Bean as Zoning Board Clerk and note that all correspondence will be available for public viewing at Town Hall.
