Residents press Hudson Falls trustees on bright lights, Wheelabrator emissions and Ferry Street potholes

Rosemary Madonna and Ron Atkinson, representing Breathfree, presented a resident petition asking the village to enact stricter local controls and continuous monitoring of emissions from the Wheelabrator plant, citing community health concerns. Madonna also raised safety concerns about potholes on Ferry Street, saying paving had been promised but not completed; the mayor said he would speak to DPW to seek a solution. Lindsey Henderson also raised a separate lighting complaint affecting her property.
