Application 1226-25A by David and Laurie Walker sought an area variance to add a 10' x 10'6" deck extension 15 feet from the rear lot line at 10316 Hampshire Ave. The Zoning Board concluded the request was a Type II SEQRA action and found no significant environmental impact.
The Board accepted the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program recommendation, closed the public hearing and approved the variance with the condition that exterior lighting not be a nuisance and that the deck not be closer than the 15-foot setback. The motion passed 5-0, with Tom Hamilton and Amy Connelly participating in the parts of the motion and finding of facts.
