Supervisor David Fantuzzo announced 2025 committee assignments and liaisons during the organizational meeting. Assignments included Phil Eygnor as deputy supervisor and liaison for justice, water and sewer and historic buildings; Bob Cahoon for insurance, highway, animal control and climate initiatives; Tom Wetherby for building, zoning and emergency management; and Tiffany Smith as liaison for community relations, grants and waterfront committees.
The minutes also record community-participation committees (Waterfront & Bays; Grants; Climate Smart Community & Clean Energy Task Force) and identify Planning Board member Alex Welsh as the Hazard Mitigation Plan coordinator. The board set Clean Up Day for June 7, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with electronics and shredding from 9 a.m. to noon; Town Clerk Tammy Vezzose was assigned to arrange the event.
Building Inspector Roger Gallant was assigned responsibility for Town Hall maintenance, and the Highway Department was assigned maintenance responsibility for highway buildings (snow removal, spring cleaning and lawn preparation).
