Board delays public hearing on registrar's move until after November election

Staff (S2 and S3) said a letter to the attorney general—s office and registrar—s office had been discussed but that no official precinct move had yet been ordered.
Board members agreed to wait until after the November election to run the required public notice so as not to confuse voters. S3 said the board will follow staff guidance and proceed with the legally required ordinance and advertisement sequence before any precinct relocation.
The item remains on the agenda for future action once the ordinance language is finalized and the advertisement schedule is set.
