Clerk-Treasurer Eileen Carmel told trustees the Town and Country Garden Club of LeRoy will request at the Oct. 16 meeting that the Board designate the Wiss Lot as an official green space. During the workshop the Mayor addressed rumors about the lot, saying the Board has no plans to make the Wiss Lot a parking lot.
The minutes record the event as a scheduled presentation for Oct. 16; no formal petition text, map, or vote occurred at the Sept. 18 workshop. Trustees did not take action at the workshop, and the Garden Club's petition is scheduled for the next regular meeting.
